We have chosen &Make Aran from The Fibre Co. for our beginner knitting kits as the combination of soft alpaca and strong Highland wool make a lovely versatile yarn that is easy to stitch and won’t slip off your needles easily. It is also really soft and squishy, comes in a great range of bright and more muted shades, and is made from 100% natural, sustainable fibres from renewable sources. The included needles are from the Knit Pro Basix range, and are designed with beginners in mind. They are smooth and sturdy beechwood, which feel warm to the touch. Each kit also includes an instruction card, with a link to further online pattern support, and a woven label to sew on to your finished item.
