Beginner Knitting Taster Session

Aimed at complete beginners, our Knitting Taster Session will give you the chance to master the foundations of knitting in a small group setting.

We will show you how to cast on, then we’ll spend the session practising knit and purl stitches. Before you leave, we’ll show you how to cast off and secure your work, and give you lots of suggestions for further resources and next steps.

You can choose to bring your own yarn and needles, or purchase them in the shop ahead of the class (please arrive at least ten minutes before we start if you wish to do this).

Additional Information

Classes run for 2.5 hours. Please arrive ahead of the start time if you wish to purchase materials for the class from the shop.

Classes take place at Flock, 25 Kings Road, St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex. We are a short walk from St Leonards Warrior Square train station, and there is limited parking in the surrounding roads. We will send an email to the address that you use for your order the week before the class to give you all the details that you need.

Full payment is required at the time of booking. Please give us 48 hours notice if you are no longer able to attend a class - if you give less than 48 hours notice then a refund will be dependant on us being able to fill your space. If you are not able to attend, you may send someone else in your place - please let us know their details in advance.

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a class, you will receive a full refund.
